For me, as a beekeeper for many years now this activity has become an artform, a craft that I will continue to perfect.
We Really Care About Our Bees.
My name is Jenn Sword. I’ve been beekeeping for over a decade. My passion is to educate the importance of these fascinating little creatures, and help solve some of the problems we have in beekeeping.
Bee health and bee nutrition is the cornerstone of our operation. We are sure to leave our honey bees plenty of stores and only harvest the true surplus. This is important for their survival over the winter months. In return, the following spring the colonies are bursting in a beautiful healthy population that are ready for the flow.
Our colony management practices focus on raising gentle honey bees that work with nature.
We are located in Barboursville, VA about 10 mins from James Madison's Montpelier.
